Aaron Koerner

Aaron Koerner has over 10 years of professional work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Technical Support Engineer for InfluxData. From 2012 to 2021, they worked for Interstates in various roles, including Senior Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Lead Developer, Lead Control Systems Analyst, and Systems Engineer. In this role, they developed batching and process control systems, focusing on Rockwell Automation software and Allen-Bradly PLC programming. Aaron also implemented a variety of data collection and analysis solutions using Historians, SQL Server Reporting Services, FactoryTalk software, and TIBCO Spotfire. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer, Embedded for Radiance Technologies, where they designed and implemented interfaces for RS-232, SPI, CAN bus, Ethernet, general purpose I/O, and power electronics devices using Microchip 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers and ARM Linux embedded computers. Aaron also created and modified GUIs in Visual Studio Express that used RS-232, CAN bus, and Ethernet, as well as data plotting tools, data logging, and data log playback. Aaron programmed in C, C++, and C# languages. In 2009, they worked for Donatech Corporation as a Hardware Engineer, where they designed labs built for in-house testing of electrical connections in aircraft subsystems. Aaron was responsible for creating AutoCAD Electrical wiring diagrams, designing to system requirements, and reviewing electrical and mechanical drawing packages. Aaron also worked for SGS as a Temporary Database Programmer, where they created and tested database tables and stored procedures. The programming incorporated error checking, security by user-specific access levels, and automatic updates of transaction history tables for error tracking and auditing. Aaron used SQL Server Query Analyzer.
