Alyssa Nickles

Alyssa Nickles has worked in communications for over eight years. In 2021, they began their current role as Director of Communications at InfluxData. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Edelman as a Senior Account Supervisor, Technology. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at LEWIS Global Communications as an Account Manager, where they oversaw public relations campaign planning, management, and day-to-day execution for the company's largest global enterprise technology clients. In 2012, they worked on Obama for America as a Field Organizer and in the Communications Department. In this role, they managed a campaign office and volunteer staff, developed an aggressive persuasion, voter registration and Get Out the Vote Program, and recruited, trained, and managed more than 250 volunteers.

Alyssa Nickles received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism: Public Relations & Political Science from the University of Oregon.
