Brandon Pfeifer

Brandon Pfeifer has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they began their career as an IT Support Specialist at Going Twice, programming timekeeping software in C++ with GTK3/Glade and password hashing with SHA256 using OpenSSL. In 2018, they joined Quoin as a Software Engineer, programming a near real-time frontend and RESTful API backend, as well as debugging programs with Valgrind and gdb. In 2020, they joined Lowe's Companies, Inc. as a Software Engineer, implementing a software development pipeline using the BitBucket RESTful API and developing a website that provisions virtual machines for software development and testing. In 2021, they moved to WillowTree as a Platform Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at InfluxData.

Brandon Pfeifer earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University between 2014 and 2018. Brandon also earned an Associate's degree in Science from Mitchell Community College.
