Cannon Palms began their career in 2014 as an Intern at M33 Integrated Solutions. In 2015, they were a Software Development Intern at Mi-Corporation, where they utilized .NET development technologies such as C#, VB.Net, SQL, and ASP. In 2016, they were a Software Developer at Website Pipeline, where they utilized .NET and web technologies such as C#, VB.Net, ASP, CSS/HTML/JS to deliver customized e-commerce and CRM solutions. Cannon also worked with customers who engaged their customer support team for assistance with their storefront web sites. Cannon was also a Software Development Consultant at Mi-Corporation. In 2018, they were a Software Engineer at Grace Hill. In 2021, they were a Sr. Software Engineer at Infor, where they did a little bit of everything, including Vue/React, PHP, .NET, and Node. Currently, they are a Sr. Software Engineer at InfluxData, where they are working on InfluxDB's next-generation columnar time-series database, InfluxDB IOx. Written in Rust, IOx seeks to alleviate cardinality limits on time-series data and is built atop Apache Arrow & DataFusion, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
