Software Engineer

Luke Bond has worked in the tech industry since 1999. Luke began their career as a Web Developer at Diezel Interactive, followed by a Perl Programmer role at Computershare Document Services. In 2005, they worked as a Game Developer at EA Mobile and Jumbuck Entertainment. Luke then went on to become a Team Lead and Game Developer at Glu Mobile in 2007. In 2009, they joined Sony Computer Entertainment Europe as a Server Developer. In 2014, they joined YLD as a Senior Consultant and Head of Professional Services, helping Enterprise companies embrace continuous delivery and DevOps practices. In 2016, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Home Office and in 2017 they became a Co-Founder at Control Plane. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at InfluxData, where they are working on a project in Rust and has previously done Golang development and continuous delivery pipelines.

Luke Bond obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science from RMIT University between 2002 and 2005. In 2017, they received an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services and a Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
