Marco Neumann

Senior Software Engineer at InfluxData

Marco Neumann began their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) working for IPD Böhm, developing KNIME plugins, assisting with publications and data generation. In 2014, they returned to KIT as a Research Assistant working for IPD Böhm, where they were responsible for data classification in cooperation with industrial partners and supervising students during their practical course with database systems and during their first collective software project. In 2015, Neumann worked as a Technical Student at CERN and as a Project Administrator and Research Assistant at KIT. From 2016 to 2021, Neumann worked at Blue Yonder, a JDA company, in various roles, including Data Architect Int, Data Scientist Int, Data Scientist, and Junior Data Scientist. In 2021, Neumann joined InfluxData as a Senior Software Engineer.

Marco Neumann obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Informatics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 2010 and 2013. Marco then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Informatics from the same institute between 2014 and 2016.
