Patrick Oliver began their career in 2007 as a Senior Client Development Manager at Silicon Valley Capital Management. After two years, they joined Staples Business Advantage as a B2B Sales Leader, where they were promoted to lead a team of 8 Account Executives. In 2014, Patrick transitioned to DataStax as an Account Executive for the Western Canada geography, where they hosted local meetups and established DataStax's first paying customers in the region. Patrick was then promoted to manage the Silicon Valley territory. In 2016, Patrick was promoted to Director, Strategic Sales at InfluxData, where they led a team of Strategic Account Executives dedicated to InfluxData's F500 book of business. Patrick was responsible for understanding the customers' business models and crafting custom pricing strategies that aligned with their GTM.
