Simon Potgieter

Simon Potgieter has had a varied work experience. Simon began their career in 2009 as a Jugend Trainer/Youth Trainer for Makkabi Frankfurt, where they managed two training sessions a week for twenty 10-11 year olds, as well as a league game on the weekend. Simon also worked as a tutor for both university and private clients. From 2015 to 2020, they held a variety of roles at TeamViewer, including Customer Care Agent and De-Escalation Manager for TeamViewer - EMEA, RoEMEA Sales Representative, and EMEA Sales Representative. In 2017, they worked as a Google Maps Enterprise Sales Manager for Commerce Connector. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Account Manager for Giant Swarm and, since 2020, they have been a Senior Account Executive for Crate.io. In 2022, they will begin working as an Enterprise Account Executive (InfluxDB) for InfluxData.

Simon Potgieter obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Bachelor's degree from Goethe University in Empirical Language Science - Phonetics & Language Analysis and Empirical Language Sciences, respectively, between 2008 and 2012. In 2017, they obtained the SPIN 2.0 - The Evolution of Selling certification from the Miller Heiman Group, the Google Maps Sales Representative certification from Google, and the Fire Safety Assistant certification.
