David Owens

David Owens has a diverse work experience in the media industry. David started their career in 2013 as a Newsroom Intern at NBC News. In 2013, they also worked as a Production Intern at CBS Television Distribution/The Doctors. In 2014, they joined Ithaca College - Office of Marketing Communications as a Writer/Editor and later worked at Ithaca College Television - Newswatch 16 as a Producer and Director of Programming. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a News Producer at CNY Central (WSTM NBC-3/WTVH CBS-5/WSTQ CW-6). In 2017, they were an Associate Producer at WJLA-TV, where they produced the 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. shows. Currently, they are the Director of Product at Info Quick Solutions (IQS), a position they have held since December 2018.

David Owens attended Liverpool High School and graduated in 2011 with a Regents Diploma Advanced Designation with Honors. After high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Television-Radio Production, Honors, and French at Ithaca College. David completed their undergraduate education at Ithaca College from 2011 to 2015.
