William Rieders

William Rieders is an education executive with in-depth experience across education, information and media, technology, data and analytics, and services. They currently serve as Chief Executive Officer of Infobase and as a Board Member of May Institute. Their leadership in the industry includes roles such as Chief Strategy Officer, Global Corporate Development and EVP Consumer Markets at Cengage Learning, where they had full P&L accountability for a $130 million portfolio and led strategic planning and restructuring; they also served as Managing Partner and Co-Head of the San Francisco Office at The Parthenon Group, and as Chief Operating Officer at Meteor Learning (2014-2017). They earned an MBA/MSIA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business (1994-1996).
