Colby Hoefer

Colby Hoefer is a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist at Infoblox since February 2022, focusing on educating the industry about Threat Intelligence and operationalizing DNS data within Security Operations Centers. Previous experience includes roles at Cisco, where Colby served as a Security Service Sales expert and Security Consulting Engineer, translating customer needs into actionable solutions and developing long-term security strategies. Colby also worked as a Cyber Threat Analyst at BB&T, conducting threat investigations and incident response. Early career experience in the United States Marine Corps included management of command and control systems and significant leadership roles in training and operations. Colby holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
