Thomas Betts

Thomas 💻 Betts is an engineering leader and software architect with over 25 years of experience in various roles across multiple organizations. They have held positions such as Sr. Principal Software Architect at Blackbaud and Lead Editor at InfoQ, where they also co-host the InfoQ Podcast. Thomas has previously worked at Raytheon Missile Systems and HomeAway Software, among others, and holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver. They continue to influence the field through their current role as Laureate Software Engineer/Application Architect at Blackbaud.
