Leilani Astrab is currently a Sales Intern at Infor, having joined the company in May 2020. Concurrently, Leilani is pursuing a PhD at the University of Virginia under the guidance of Dr. Steven Caliari in the Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials Laboratory since August 2020. Previously, Leilani gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from June 2018 to May 2020 in Dr. Gregory Hudalla's Supramolecular Biomaterials and Biotherapeutics Lab. In the summer of 2019, Leilani participated in the National Institutes of Health Summer Research Program at The Johns Hopkins University, working with Dr. Jamie Spangler in the Targeted Therapeutics and Molecular Biology Lab. Leilani earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2020.
