Ulas Cakmak

Ulas Cakmak is currently serving as the Director of Decision Science and Engineering at Infor since August 2025. Previously, Ulas worked as a Principal Scientist at Cognira from January 2023 to May 2025 and held several roles at Infor between July 2016 and August 2022, including Senior Director and Director of Optimization Science. Prior to that, Ulas was a Senior Scientist at Predictix from February 2011 to July 2016, and held various positions at Agility from April 2007 to February 2011, ultimately advancing to Principal and Senior Manager in Supply Chain Solutions. Ulas earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi.
