Andrew Abel is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in web and desktop application development, specializing in technologies such as Perl, MySQL, C# .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server. Currently at Informa Tech since December 2021, Andrew previously held senior roles at NetLine Corporation and Fujitsu America, contributing to significant projects involving database application development and data integration for major European retailers. Notable achievements include sole development of the DataMART Development Project and designing an ETL tool for large-scale retail data warehouses. Andrew began their career at ICL and Convergent Business Systems, focusing on customer signature verification and automated software for mainframes. Andrew holds a BSc (Hons) in Electronic Computer Systems from The University of Salford.
