James Williams

James Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. James currently serves as the Senior Director of Events at Informa Tech since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Events at the same company from July 2021 to June 2023. Starting from September 2019 to July 2021, James worked as a Portfolio Manager for AfricaCom at Informa Tech. Before joining Informa Tech, they worked at Reed Business Information as a Portfolio Manager from September 2017 to September 2019 and as an Editorial Project Manager from January 2016 to September 2017. James also gained experience at Virgo Health as a Senior Editorial Assistant, where they assisted in delivering medical education materials and managed editorial content for various client accounts from June 2014 to December 2015. James began their career as a Senior Editorial Assistant at Faculty of 1000 Ltd from June 2012 to June 2014 and as a Junior Editor Intern at Henley Media Group from March 2012 to June 2012.

James Williams completed their education at the University of Reading, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Zoology from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Berkshire College of Agriculture from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained an Animal Science ND degree with a focus on Animal Science and Biology. After their Bachelor's degree, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Conservation Biology at the University of Reading, which they completed from 2010 to 2011.
