Jacob Bell

Jacob Bell is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various reporting roles, currently serving as a Senior Reporter at Informa TechTarget since September 2016, following the acquisition of Industry Dive. Prior roles include Senior Reporter, Reporter, and Associate Editor at Industry Dive until December 2024. Jacob began a professional career as an M&A Reporter at The Deal, following an internship with TheStreet, where responsibilities included business reporting. Early reporting experience includes a Political Reporting Internship at McClatchy, a Science, Environment and Energy Reporter position with Capital News Service, and a Newsroom Internship at Education Week. Jacob's career began with a Communications Internship at the Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center. Jacob earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Journalism and Biology from the University of Maryland between 2012 and 2016.
