David Armstrong

David Armstrong is an experienced editorial professional with a strong background in financial journalism and content strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Editorial Strategy & Operations for Wealth Management at Informa Connect since January 2017, Armstrong previously held the position of Editor in Chief for Rep. magazine and Wealthmanagement.com at Penton Media from February 2012 to January 2017. Armstrong's career also includes significant roles as Senior Editor at HNW, where oversight was given to consumer newsletters for high net worth clients, and as a Senior Reporter at Forbes, covering diverse topics from finance to human interest stories. Earlier experience includes a role as a Business Reporter at Fox News. Armstrong holds a BA in English Literature and Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has further education from The New School.
