James Frederick Smith

James Frederick Smith has extensive experience in finance and shared services management, spanning several decades. Currently serving as Head of Integrations and Separations within Global Business Services at Informa since January 1995, Smith has specialized since 2018 in leading significant organizational changes. Previously, Smith held roles including Group Shared Services Director, where leadership was provided to a shared services organization during a pivotal transition, and Group Shared Services Manager, focusing on cost management and service standardization. Smith's early career included positions at Ernst & Young as an Audit Supervisor and various roles in finance and accounting at IIR Limited and its subsidiaries. Smith holds a B.Compt degree in Financial Accounting and Auditing from the University of South Africa.
