Jeffrey Blum

Jeffrey Blum has extensive experience in the maritime and trade consultancy sectors, serving as the Managing Director of Interlink International Trading (UK) Ltd since its inception in 1994. The company specializes in bespoke maritime and trade claims consultancy, alongside training programs. Additionally, Jeffrey acts as a lecturer and author for Lloyd's Maritime Academy and has held visiting professor positions at both the World Maritime University and Shanghai Maritime University since 2007. As a Director at Maritime Education & Training Ltd, Jeffrey oversees evening classes for students preparing for the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers exams. With a background spanning several roles in trading and shipping since 1972, including shipbroker and arbitrator, Jeffrey holds education credentials from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the City of London Polytechnic. Jeffrey is also an individual member of The Baltic Exchange and has authored chartering modules for Lloyd's Maritime Academy.
