Julie Smith

Julie Smith is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and privacy matters. Currently serving as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Group HR & GS at Informa since November 2016, Julie has previously held the position of Vice President, Assistant General Counsel & Lead Privacy Counsel at Penton Media, Inc. from September 2010 to November 2016. Earlier in Julie's career, legal expertise was developed as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher from October 2004 to August 2010. Julie earned a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School between 2001 and 2004 and a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University from 1997 to 2001.
