Melissa Watson

Melissa Watson has over a decade of experience in operations and event management, primarily with Informa from May 2015 to March 2025, where roles included Group Operations Director for Travel, Events, and Special Projects, as well as Head of Corporate Events and Venues & Travel Management. In these roles, Melissa was responsible for overseeing global strategic meetings management implementation and the Global Travel Management program. Prior experience includes serving as Guest Services Manager at The St. James's Club, focusing on event supervision and guest services, and a Sub Editor at the Antigua Sun Newspaper. Melissa also worked as a Customer Service Associate at Stanford Investment Bank. Educational qualifications include A Levels in English Language and Literature, and Media Studies from Islington 6th Form Centre, alongside foundational education at Haggerston Girls School.
