Phil Hunter

Phil Hunter is a seasoned professional in the event and exhibition industry with extensive experience in commercial leadership roles. Currently serving as the Senior Global Commercial Director for the Global Finance Division at Informa Connect since April 2014, Phil leads a sales team of 60, driving over £80m in annual revenue through diverse channels including event sponsorship and digital media sales. Prior roles include Exhibitions Director at Adam Smith Conferences and Event Director at Clarion Events, where significant portfolio expansions and successful event launches were achieved. With a strong foundation in sales and event management cultivated over decades at organizations such as UBM and EMAP, Phil has consistently demonstrated expertise in developing and managing large-scale B2B exhibitions. Phil holds a degree in Communication Arts from The University of Huddersfield.
