Rens V.

Rens V. is an experienced Information Security Officer with a strong background in setting strategic road maps and implementing security policies across multiple operations in the Africa region, currently serving at Informa since December 2017. Previously, Rens held the same position at Millicom (Tigo) from April 2014 to November 2017, where responsibilities included user access control and risk mitigation. Rens also worked as a Regional Delivery Architect at Millicom, focusing on IT system architecture for mobile applications. Early career experience includes consulting roles at CGI, where Rens contributed to the European Satellite Navigation System Galileo, and as a software consultant at CIMSOLUTIONS and Bosch Security Systems. Rens holds a Master of Science in Electronics from Delft University of Technology, earned in 2003.
