Samson Yap

Samson Yap is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in diverse legal roles, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Informa since September 2025. Prior to this, Samson held the position of Senior Legal Counsel for VIRTUE at VICE Media, overseeing legal matters across EMEA, NA, and APAC, and also served as Legal Counsel for various VICE Media brands. Samson's career includes tenure at Which? as a lawyer in the Commercial and Media & Strategic Litigation Teams, and as a trainee solicitor and paralegal at Hausfeld and Slater and Gordon Lawyers. Samson's educational background includes a Legal Practice Course from the College of Law, London, and a BA in Economics and Law from the University of Leicester.
