Stephen Bolinger

Stephen Bolinger serves as the Chief Privacy Officer at Informa, leading a team that focuses on privacy-by-design methodologies to foster customer trust through responsible data use. Bolinger is also a Voting Member of the Data Protection Authority at the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner and works as a filmmaker with B Team Films. Previous roles include Chief Privacy & Data Ethics Officer at NAB, where significant contributions included establishing data ethics principles and overhauling privacy policies. Bolinger has extensive experience in privacy and compliance roles at companies such as Cochlear, TeleSign, and Microsoft, where responsibilities ranged from developing global privacy programs to advising on data protection regulations. Educational qualifications include an LLM in Computer and Communications Law from Queen Mary University of London and a JD from Abraham Lincoln University, School of Law.
