Sukumar Verma

Sukumar Verma is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in managing and directing large-scale operations within the events and marketing sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director for Informa Markets and Informa Connect in Singapore since September 2008, Sukumar oversees strategic business planning, market penetration initiatives, and financial management while actively contributing to product development. In addition to leading Informa Connect, which specializes in content-driven events, Sukumar has a significant role at the Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers as Vice President Industry and Enterprise since March 2022. Previous roles include Director of Content Development at both the Auckland District Law Society and Conferenz, where Sukumar managed conference development and strategic partnerships. Early career experience includes management positions at ITC Hotels, culminating as Front Office Manager at Windsor Manor Bangalore. Sukumar holds an MBA in International Business from Griffith University.
