Luke Plummer

Luke Plummer is a Mechanical Design Consultant at Informal since August 2023. Previously, Luke served as a Mechanical Engineer at SUSS MicroTec from October 2023 to April 2024 and as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Formlabs from April 2015 to June 2023, where Luke developed new solutions for upcoming SLS and SLA products. As Lead Mechanical Engineer for Fuse1, Luke built an SLS technology platform and led a team to launch Formlabs' first SLS printer. Prior experience includes working as a Mechatronics Engineer at MIT Media Lab, overseeing the design and manufacturing of a new social robot platform, and undertaking undergraduate research in various roles related to robotics and audio systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2014, where Luke earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
