Iulia Fried

Iulia Fried, CIPP/US/E, CIPM, currently serves as Director and Assistant General Counsel for Privacy at Informatica, focusing on privacy and data protection in SaaS and cloud technology. Previously, Iulia held the position of Senior Manager for Global Privacy at Biogen, advising on strategic data protection across various departments and leading privacy initiatives within the North American and Latin American regions. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager for Compliance and Privacy at Cotiviti, where Iulia managed compliance programs and oversaw privacy training and incident response, as well as practicing as a Litigation Attorney at Martin Magnuson McCarthy & Kenney and Hayes Lorenzen Lawyers PLC. Iulia holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law, a Master of Science in Health Informatics from Northeastern University, and completed an executive course on Generative AI for the Legal Profession at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law.
