John Lontos

John Lontos is the President, Founder, and Chief Geek at Information First. John has over 25 years of experience in the information management industry. Prior to Information First, John was the Vice President of Information Management at UrsaNav, Inc. from January 2009 to September 2013. John was responsible for UrsaNav's Information Management business, which experienced year-over-year growth and expansion of its efforts within the HP Autonomy IM Channel.

Before UrsaNav, John was the VP of Operations at TOWER Software from May 1999 to April 2002. John was also a Systems Engineer at Giordano Associates, Inc. from January 1988 to December 1992. In between their time at Giordano Associates and TOWER Software, John was a co-founder of InterVision Systems, Inc. where they developed wearable hands-free computers that utilized miniature head-mounted displays. After InterVision Systems, John became the owner of EDRM Solutions, Inc. from June 2002 to February 2009.

John Lontos has a MS Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a MS in Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University. John also has certification from Hewlett Packard Enterprise as an Accredited Solutions Expert (HPE Records Manager) and an Accredited Technical Professional (HPE Records Manager).
