John Atchison

John Atchison has extensive work experience in the field of nuclear engineering and consulting. John worked as a Senior Engineer at Information Systems Laboratories from 2008 to the present, where they were responsible for various nuclear power plant analyses and safety training workshops. Prior to that, they owned and operated Half Fast Racing from 2005 onwards. John also worked as a Senior Safety Analyst at Battelle Energy Alliance from 2007 to 2008 and at EG&G Technical Services from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Consulting Engineer at SARACon, Inc. from 2005, Xron Associates from 2000 to 2005, and SCIENTECH, Inc. from 1996 to 2000. John held the position of Principle Engineer at NUS from 1990 to 1996 and worked as a Technical Staff Member at EI International, Inc. from 1980 to 1990. John started their career as a Nuclear Engineer at Combustion Engineering from 1977 to 1980.

John Atchison attended New Brighton Area High School from 1969 to 1972. After completing high school, they enrolled at Penn State University in 1972 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering in 1976.
