Informed£ is a student-led finance platform designed to equip the next generation of analysts with the skills, experience, and portfolio needed to break into high finance.

We provide ambitious students with a space to publish professional-standard work that replicates the deliverables of investment banks and research houses.

Our members create:
•	M&A Case Studies - pitchbook-style analyses of live and historic transactions, including valuation (DCF, comps, precedents), synergy assessment, and strategic rationale.

•	Equity Research Reports - company and sector analyses with valuation models, trading comparables, and investor-style insights.

•	Market Commentary - short-form articles on M&A activity, global markets, and macroeconomic events.

Through this, each contributor develops a personal “pitchbook portfolio” that showcases their technical skills, commercial awareness, and ability to communicate complex financial ideas with clarity.

Since our founding, we have grown into an inter-university platform with contributors from top UK institutions, publishing to an audience of aspiring professionals, peers, and industry practitioners.

At Informed£, we believe in learning by doing. In creating real outputs, under real deadlines, in a collaborative environment that mirrors the work of investment banks, equity research desks, and global markets teams, we are a mini-training ground that equips our members with valuable experience ahead of embarking on their finance careers.
