Ivan Marinkovic

Ivan Marinkovic is currently working as the Head of Software Engineering at Infostellar, where they are responsible for developing a ground station-sharing platform in the Space industry. Ivan has skills in GSaaS, SDR, satellite communication, and cloud security.

Before joining Infostellar, Ivan founded and served as the CEO of Kokus Pte. Ltd., a company they started in 2018.

From 2016 to 2018, Ivan worked as the CTO at Smartfolios, where they recruited and managed a team that built an investment platform for self-directed investors. Ivan developed skills in Amazon Web Services, React, Python, and startup development during this role.

Prior to that, Ivan was the Director - Technical Architect at Société Générale from 2015 to 2016. In this position, they designed and oversaw the deployment of a global real-time Risk Management system.

From 2008 to 2016, Ivan held various roles at Newedge, including Director - Head of eSolutions, Asia-Pacific, and Director - Head of IT, Japan. Ivan managed staff responsible for trading systems and technology deployment and gained skills in management, leadership, and financial markets.

Earlier in their career, Ivan worked at Société Générale as the Vice President - IT Manager, Fimat Division, Japan, where they managed a team responsible for the development and support of front to back office systems.

Additionally, Ivan worked as a Software Development Manager at Bobbytech, where they successfully managed a team to develop a back office solution for an insurance company. Ivan also has experience as a Software Test Engineer at Microsoft.

Throughout their career, Ivan has developed skills in various areas such as risk management, business analysis, derivatives, equities, futures, options, system integration, FIX protocol, SQL, IT management, direct market access, exchange connectivity, IT operations, vendor management, and project management.

Ivan Marinkovic attended St. Mary's International School from 1990 to 1993. During this time, they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study.

Later on, from 1997 to 2000, Ivan enrolled at Hawaii Pacific University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.

Additionally, Ivan Marinkovic obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022.
