Roger Cano

Roger Cano has a diverse work experience in the field of RF systems engineering and project management. Roger started their career at PolyOrbite, where they served as the RF Telecommunications head manager for a student group. Here, they designed and tested a Telecommunications System for a 3U CubeSat and gained experience in PCB designing.

Following that, Roger worked at the European Space Agency (ESA) as a Trainee, where they developed a RF Base Station for VHF/UHF CubeSat operation. Roger designed, assembled, and tested the transmission RF chain of a Software Defined Radio-based ground station. Roger also created a detailed operations manual for the station.

Most recently, Roger joined Infostellar as a Technical Project Manager and RF systems engineer. In this role, they provided daily communication and support to the software engineering team, handled GS onboarding projects, and managed technical integrations for satellite and ground station systems. Roger also had experience in Python coding and provided examples of API integration code to customers.

Roger Cano's education history includes the following:

- From 2011 to 2012, they attended IES Hug Roger III High School, Sort, where they obtained their High School degree, focusing on Science and Technology.

- Starting in 2013 and until 2016, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Air Navigation Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, specializing in the field of Airspace.

- In 2015, they participated in a 12-month exchange program at Polytechnique Montréal, during which they focused on Aerospace and Telecommunications.

- From 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Aerospace Science and Technology at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. The specific field of study for this degree is not provided.

- In 2019, they completed the Dale Carnegie Course TOD793E at Dale Carnegie Training, where they focused on Effective Communications and Human Relations.
