Jon Nelson

Jon Nelson, CISSP, CEH, currently serves as the Principal Advisory Director at Info-Tech Research Group since July 2023. Previously, Jon worked at Fiserv from 2009 to July 2023, holding various roles including Manager of Application Security, Platform Architect in Security Engineering, and Security Engineer, where responsibilities included defining the strategic direction of security platforms, mentoring team members, managing vendor relationships, and aligning vendor roadmaps with business objectives. Jon also has experience as a Security Analyst and Prototype Analyst. Early in Jon's career, positions included Software Engineer at SunGard and SunGard Treasury Systems. Jon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University, earned between 1993 and 1997, and attended Kimball High School from 1989 to 1993.
