Liam Nickerson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative field. Liam began their career as an Interactive Producer and Senior Designer at Discovery Channel in 2000. Liam then worked as a Creative Designer at TSN - Canada's Sports Leader from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they joined CBC/Radio-Canada as a Creative Designer and Producer for CBC Sports (Hockey Night in Canada, Digital) from 2008 to 2011. During the same period, they also briefly worked as a Creative Designer at 70 Main Street. In 2011, they became an Art Director at Think Thirty Three Inc. and held this role until 2017. Additionally, they served as the Associate Creative Director for CBC Sports (Hockey Night in Canada, Digital) at CBC/Radio-Canada from 2011 to 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Liam worked at Info-Tech Research Group as the Creative Director and later transitioned to the role of Vice President, Creative. In 2016, they joined The Concert Hall o/a 888yonge Inc. as an Associate Creative Director. Most recently, Liam worked as a Designer at Auctor Design from 2019 to 2021.
Liam Nickerson has pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. Liam has completed a d.MBA program specializing in Business Design & Strategy. Liam also has advanced web development training from Juno College of Technology. Liam has gained expertise in project management fundamentals and project monitoring & control through courses at World Class Productivity. Additionally, Liam holds an Honours degree in Design Arts from Seneca Polytechnic and a B.A. from McGill University. Alongside their formal education, Liam has obtained several certifications, including 3000 Mentorship Minutes and 50 Mentorship Sessions from adplist.org. Liam is also a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and holds certifications in Open Water Diving and Smart Serve.
