Mark Maby

Mark Maby serves as the Principal Research Director for Higher Education at Info-Tech Research Group since May 2018, specializing in the challenges faced by IT professionals in the Higher Education sector and facilitating connections with subject matter experts. Prior to this role, Mark operated as a Senior Consulting Analyst and Independent Researcher after earning a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Cardiff University, where the research focused on semantic knowledge development in second language acquisition. Previous teaching experience includes positions as a Lecturer in English at College of the North Atlantic - Qatar, Qatar University, and Abu Dhabi University, with responsibilities including curriculum planning, assessment, and project development. Mark holds a Master's degree in Second Language Education from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto.
