Daniel Brown

Daniel Brown has been working in the IT industry since 1987. Daniel began their career at CSC as an ICC Tech. In 1993, they worked at TNSI as a Senior Systems Administrator and Software Engineer, where they gained experience in Linux platforms. Daniel also worked at Transaction Network Services as a Linux Engineer and Technical Support Manager, where they designed and built the network for TNS Inc. of Reston Va. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at ECS Federal, Inc. as a Sr Linux Systems Engineer and Sr Linux Administrator for the USDA-NIFA and Navy PSNET, respectively. In 2019, they began working at Apex Systems as a Sr Linux Administrator and at InfoTeK Corporation as a Sr Linux Engineer. In both roles, they worked with RHEL7, VMware ESXI6, and HPE G9 ILO 4.

Daniel Brown attended Strayer University from 1998 to 2000, where they studied Computer Science. Daniel also attended R.E.Lee from 1979 to 1982. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) from CompTIA in May 2015, RHEL Ansible, Ansible Tower from Red Hat in July 2019, and RHEL IDA - Freeipa from Red Hat.
