Sean Bartosik has had a diverse work experience, beginning in 2016 when they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Mississippi State University. In this role, they read and summarized professional papers on hydraulic fracturing, analyzed fracturing fluid compositions and proposed substitute chemicals / additives to optimize hydraulic fracture conductivities. In 2017, they were a Field Engineer Intern at ANKOR Energy LLC. In 2018, they returned to Mississippi State University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they automated well log interpretation, reservoir characterization, and assisted geosteering models via clustering algorithms, deep learning, and time series forecasting. Sean also conducted motif extraction, signal processing, and time series analysis and predictive maintenance, and utilized geologic, production, and completion data to determine optimal location and completion strategies for new wells (sweet spot detection). In 2021, they moved to Manifold as a Quantitative Researcher. Currently, they are a Developer at Infotrend Inc.
Sean Bartosik graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering.
