Marlon Lam has worked in the engineering industry since 2009. Marlon began their career at P2S Engineering, Inc. as a Mechanical Designer. In 2011, they joined EwingCole as a Mechanical Designer, where they were responsible for attending kick-off meetings, coordinating between all disciplines, attending client meetings, field surveying existing conditions, construction administration, generating load calculations, Title 24 Calculations, equipment selections, and developing Revit and CAD standards. In 2014, they moved to AECOM as a MEP BIM Manager. Finally, in 2016, they joined Infrastructure Factor Consulting (iFactor) as an Associate BIM Manager and later as a Senior Associate | BIM Manager.
Marlon Lam began their education in 2011, when they enrolled at California State University, Long Beach, studying Mechanical Engineering. In 2014, they obtained an Autodesk Certified Professional certification from Autodesk, and has also obtained certifications in Navisworks 2011 and Revit MEP from Autodesk.
