John Malone

John Malone is a seasoned professional in the energy and private equity sectors, currently serving as Principal at AVAIO Digital Partners, where the focus is on digital infrastructure and clean energy. Since 2019, John has also contributed to the Sustainability Committee at Infrastructure Masons and has been a Fellow at The Explorers Club since 2006. Previously, John held the position of Principal at Vanwall Capital LLP, specializing in energy-focused private equity. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Director at Mizuho Securities USA Inc., Managing Director & Senior Analyst at Global Hunter Securities, and Vice President, Senior Strategy Analyst at IHS Markit. Earlier, John worked as a Consultant at Poten & Partners, focusing on LNG and natural gas. John holds a PhD in Geological Sciences from Trinity College Dublin and a BA in International Relations from Lehigh University.
