Krupal Raval

Krupal Raval joined Equinix in May 2019. He currently serves as Managing Director for the xScale team. with nearly 20 years of financial services and REIT industry experience. Since joining, the xScale team has announced several multi-billion dollar joint ventures, with nearly $8.0 billion committed to projects in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.

Previously, Krupal was Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific for Digital Realty. In that role, he oversaw a range of financial functions in Asia Pacific region, including forming the Joint Venture partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan. He also served as the regional Portfolio Manager, overseeing a portfolio of nearly 2.0 million square feet, which grew nearly 3x during Krupal’s tenure in APAC, while NOI increased nearly 4x.

Krupal also previously served as the Vice President, Capital Markets at Alexandria Real Estate Equities. Here, he was responsible for designing and executing financial strategy, balance sheet management and corporate functions, including financial reporting, corporate finance, and investor relations and marketing. During his tenure at Alexandria, the firm raised $2.1 billion of equity and debt capital. Prior to this, Krupal served as a Research Analyst for Fidelity Management and Research, where he coordinated asset allocation with the firm’s portfolio managers, resulting in over $4 billion new capital invested in publicly traded real estate companies. Krupal started his career at the top-ranked Citi REIT Equity Research team.

Krupal received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, where he was a Meinig Family National Scholar (awarded to less than 2% of each class). In his free time, Krupal spends time with his family.
