Scott Mortensen's work experience includes working as a Head Cashier at Lowe's Companies, Inc. from 2010-2018, a Helpdesk Analyst - Tier 1.5 at TEKsystems from 2018-2019, a PMN Network Technician at Presidio from 2019-2020, an Operations technician II at Insight Global - Lumen from 2020-2022, and currently working as a Network Operations Center Technician at Infrastructure Networks since 2023.

Scott Mortensen completed their Computer Network Systems AAS degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from North Central Texas College between the years 2017 and 2021. Additionally, they obtained three certifications in the field of computer networking. In 2018, they received the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA, and in 2019, they received both the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certifications from Cisco.
