Promit B. has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012 and 2014, Promit B. worked as a Laboratory Technologist at Lorama Inc. and WellSpring Pharmaceutical Corporation respectively. In 2016, Promit B. founded SolarTop, a fintech company that provided financing for residential homeowners in Ontario to install solar panel on their roofs. In 2019, Promit B. founded Fundamental Fund and Research, a fund that researches and invests in high growth tech companies and Bitcoin. Currently, the fund has USD $500,000 AUM and is only holding Bitcoin. In 2021, Promit B. became a Business Development Manager at InfStones, where their area of expertise and focus is The Cosmos Ecosystem and Inter Blockchain Communication Protocol. They are currently working with projects such as Swell (Ethereum Liquid Staking), Agoric (Javascript Smart Contract), Switchboard (Data Oracles on Solana), Composable Finance and Astar.

Promit B. obtained a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from McGill University between 2008 and 2011. In 2018, Promit B. passed the CFA Level I Exam through the CFA Institute and obtained a Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification from Bloomberg LP. Additionally, Promit B. earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Finance-Major on Fund Management from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management between 2018 and 2020.
