David Starck

David Starck has over 40 years of experience in the technology industry. In 1980, they began their career with various companies. David then moved on to Amazon in 2011, where they were the Manager of TPM - Transportation Technology, SSP. In 2019, they joined DesertTree Retail, LLC as the Principal Member - E-Commerce and Software Products (Former CEO/CTO). In 2021, they became the Director of Engineering at Waitr, where they led a ~70 person (Remote) Product and Software engineering group. David is currently the Director of Engineering at Infuse, where they are responsible for the Watson to your Sherlock, the Robin to your Batman, and the Sam to your Frodo.

David Starck has a diverse educational background. David began their studies in 2004 at Bates Technical College, where they earned an Emergency Medical Technician degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Western Governors University and earned a Bachelors degree in Information Technology - Software. David then returned to Western Governors University and completed a Bachelor's Degree in BS Business - Information Technology Management in 2019. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including CIW v5 Database Design Specialist (1D0-541) in 2014, CIW: JavaScript Specialist (1D0-635) in 2013, CIW Web Design Specialist (1D0-520) in 2012, CompTIA A+ Essentials (2009 Edition) and CompTIA A+ Practical Application (2009 Edition) in 2012, Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer in 2011, and Project Management Professional in 2010.
