Alex Bertram

Alex Bertram is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in infrastructure finance and advisory. Currently serving as Managing Director at ING since February 2007, Alex has successfully identified and originated infrastructure debt transactions across North and South America, amassing a loan portfolio exceeding $1.5 billion. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Vice President of Project Finance at Ambac from February 2005 to February 2007, where responsibilities included the structuring of project finance opportunities in various sectors. Earlier in a career as a Management Consultant at The Louis Berger Group from February 2000 to February 2005, advisory services were provided to both public and private sector clients on transportation and real estate projects. Alex holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Project Management and Structural Design from UNSW.
