Alfred Alfers

Alfred Alfers is an experienced banking professional currently serving as COO Credit Risk and tribe lead at ING since June 2016, managing a team of approximately 280 FTE in operations and technology for global Credit Risk processes. Prior roles at ING include Wholesale Banking global change lead for Lending & Trade, focusing on corporate lending digitalization, and Financial Markets digitalization product area lead, where Alfred oversaw a team of 130 FTEs in implementing a pricing and risk engine. Previous experience includes a tenure at Accenture as a Financial Services Operational Excellence/Transformation manager, where Alfred led significant operational improvement initiatives for the banking and insurance sectors. Alfred holds a degree from Utrecht University and additional certifications as a Black Belt and Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from George Group University - Accenture.
