Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott is the Global Head of Environmental and Social Risk Management (ESR) at ING, a position held since September 2008, with ad interim responsibilities for the ESR team since September 2020. The ESR team assesses environmental, social, health, safety, and human rights risks related to financing projects in regions including Africa, the Middle East, and Western Asia CIS. Previous roles include Vice President of Metals & Mining Financing and Vice President of Global Credit Restructuring, focusing on structured finance and credit restructuring for various major projects. Andrew Scott also serves as Chair of the Equator Principles Steering Committee. Prior experiences include directorship at Hatfield Colliery Ltd. and various roles at a large international bank and ABN Amro Bank N.V. Andrew Scott holds a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University.
