Anna Simone

Anna Simone is the Head of Compliance for Challengers & Growth Markets at ING Bank N.V., where they advise and oversee local compliance teams across various countries. Since joining ING in 2012, they have also coordinated compliance efforts for innovation and fintech initiatives. Prior to this role, Anna built and trained the compliance function at Interbanca SpA during a short-term assignment for ABN AMRO Bank N.V. They have extensive experience in compliance roles within ABN AMRO, including serving as Senior Vice President in Group Compliance and leading compliance functions for acquired subsidiaries. Anna holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a BA in Political Science and Computer Science from Fordham University.
