Axel Krone

Axel Krone is currently the Expertise Lead for AML Prevention at ING, where they lead a team focused on Pre-Transaction Screening and Customer Activity Monitoring. Previously, Axel served as a Risk Manager at ING, conducting internal investigations, and worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte. Axel gained experience as a Junior Consultant at German Business Protection GmbH and completed an internship at EY, focusing on data privacy in the pharmaceutical sector. Axel holds a Master's degree in Counter Fraud and Counter Corruption Studies from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor's degree in Security and Safety Management from Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin.
